What happens if you have to cancel?
We know that life is full of surprises and we understand that sometimes things just happen and you'll need to cancel your plans with us. And with the unplanned in mind, we've put together the ins and outs of how we handle cancellations.

Transfering Camp Weeks
If you need to move your camper to a different week, no problem! The only restriction is that we need to make sure there is room in the week you want to transfer into. Please make these requests sooner than later. The closer to camp we get, the harder it will be to accomodate the transfer.
Cancelling Camps
If you're signed up for one of our camps and you have to cancel, just let us know as early as possible. If it's 45 days (or more) from the start date we're more than happy to give you your money back. We do keep a $75 registration fee though. If your plans change less than 45 days from the start of camp, we won't be able to issue you a refund.
And we do need a certain number of campers before we can start the fun. If there is a chance a camp won't happen, we'll let you know within 7 days of the start date. You can choose to get a refund or just transfer to another week (so your little pirate doesn't miss out on the fun).
Cancelling Lessons
If you can't make your sailing or kayaking lesson and you can tell us more than 48 hours beforehand, we're happy to give you a refund (less a $25 registration fee). If you realise less than 48 hours before the lesson, unfortunately it's too late and we can't offer a refund.
Each lesson needs a minimum number of students and if it looks like there won't be enough; we'll let you know within 24 hours of the lesson. But you don't have to miss out! You can reschedule your lesson at no cost, or just get a full refund. It's up to you.
Cancelling Group Stuff
We're sorry to say that we don't issue refunds if you have to cancel a group lesson or event.
Your lesson can happen in almost any weather and the only time we will cancel is if the weather gets really crazy. If that's going to happen, we'll let you know at least 2 hours ahead of your lesson and you can choose another date (at no extra cost).
